I was shocked when I found out that this restaurant was originated in South Africa, it is more like American Coffee shops, a full service, fast casual, coffee themed restaurant  which was founded in 1996. In 2009 they had nearly 96 outlets throughout South Africa as well as a number of overseas operations, including UK, USA, UAE, and Kuwait

When I go there I prefer to enjoy the outdoor seating (less smoky and noisy). Mugg and Bean is known for the HUGE portion food, the food range is OK, nothing so special, but surely the size will make you go WOW :p

And  WOW, the cake slices and the pies are monster slice :p but as I said, WOW "size wise", not taste wise, a cake that huge was too dry and you had to drink lots of fluids after it to swallow it :p

Club Sandwich was OK, NEVER order the mashed potatoes, too bad, no cheese, cream, salt, pepper, or any flavour
