ALHAN! worst Tiramisu EVER

  • Location: Muroor, Abu Dhabi
  • Cuisine: Arabic Food
  • Price: Dhs 100-300
  • Credit Cards Accepted: Yes
I got a discounted voucher for this place, 50% off, which sounded very good “at that time”, I said why not trying this new place!!
They basically serve Arabic food and my enemy “Sheesha= Smoking”  and again no place for nonsmokers!! It is like a welcome to Cancer Disease!!
I have no respect for such places..
  • They said they had a Full-fledged chocolate bar!! What we found was a small counter with only few pieces of cakes!!
  • They said they have Free valet parking!!, which was never available!! We had to Park in a bus station and walk miles before we reach the restaurant..
  • The entire place was full of smoke and no place for none smoking people!!! What the hell!!
  • A Tiramisu with COCONUT flavour!!?? That is HELL not nice!! A Tiramisu is suppose to be a Tiramisu,a coffee flavour, chocolate flavour, NOT a coconut dessert cake!!
Fresh Salad and pickles
 
 Frozen Margarita
Warm Bread, The only Good thing..
Hummus, It was OK
 Stuffed Vine Leaves
Penne Arabiata, not so bad..
 
Some sort of Kofta, smelled so bad like a living sheep, YUCK
 Officially the worst Tiramisu EVER, don't be fooled by the look..



For Me, Alhan is a TOTALLY NEVER AGAIN, but if you like Sheesha and smoking atmosphere you might like it..

    Ugh- I can't stand smoking anywhere near me! Literally makes me gag. Too bad the food wasn't very good after all you endured to try it. That just means the next place you visit will be golden!

    It looks nice, bit i believe you when you say that it's a hell to stay in a reastaurant where everibody smokes, and the tiramisu also sounds awful...

    Loly, I admire your honesty - The tiramasu does look good, but I am sure a discerning food critic like you picked up on the taste more than the look - lol! If ever I am in AbuDhabi I will make sure never to step into this restaurant :) Cheers, my dear and have a great day - priya

    Excuse mr and ms. Just want to inform all of you that our tiramisu at alhan chocolate bar/alhan restaurant, there is no coconut ingredient inside and out even a garnish we don't put! You can see at the picture, but if your not believing at me try to visit and try eat.. By the way we have a cake with a coconut is a dried coconut the name of the cake is red velvet..
